Lennon Me
I was about to turn my head
I was about to lift the veil
The world have told me how to live
But never told me how to breathe.
You came along with grateful eyes
You see the world, you see the light
You felt the love that burns inside
You told us how to make it right.
In celebrations of your name
We keep the mind imagining
There is no heaven
There is no hell
There’s nothing left for us to blame.
One class of hero in my mind
No matter working on the line
You gave me peace and happiness
I never felt with someone else.
Today I care about your gifts
The love, the rhymes that musically
Fills up my head embracing me
Lennon me on, Lennon me in
To John… who’s flying free across the Universe
Con este poema participé en el concurso de poesía en honor a John Lennon - Liverpool Lennon Paper Poet, pero como llegué detrás de la ambulancia (je je je), lo publico aquí para compartirlo con ustedes. Espero que les guste!
Besos,
